Moriarty Christmas

As the snow falls outside I would like to share a few photos that warm my heart. As most of you know we spend our Christmases in Moriarty, NM with Arturo's family. These Christmases are so different from how I grew up, but I love it.

The Christmas tree with gifts for over 30 folks underneath!

All the stockings were hung.

The cookies baked with help from our little niece, Leah.

The pie crust are made, Juana (Arturo's Mom) specialty.

The tamales are made. Leah loves to help her Nana (Arturo's Mom) in the kitchen.

Spreading the masa.

Hard at work.

Could not decide which one I like best...so you get both.

I hope these photos will warm your heart on this cold, snowy evening.

I think my favorite was of Juana's hands rolling out the pie crust.
